Super Mega Grapnel Ultra Edition

SMGUE is a 4-player online PvP game that takes place in a small arena.

It has been developped during our 1st year of engineering school at ENJMIN in Angoulême, France.

We were a team of 5 developpers +1 external people which made the music for us.

The core gameplay mecanic is the grapnel that allow you to grab your opponents.
Once you hold one opponent a  "minigame" starts between you and him. The one who grab have to opportunity to damage it's opponent, the other can escape or dodge the attack.
On order to do so, a random key on your keyboard will be choosen and you'll have to mash it in order to pull your opponent if you're the grabber or to escape the grip if you're the grabbed.

Once you're on range, the attacker can use the spacebar to dash to deal a damage, but the defender can also use it's shield to protect himself.

Beware of the different floor tiles ! They can trap you or allow you to take some bonuses on the map !
